It's hard just to have one dog or one cat isn't it??? We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and about 80 pet koi. Have a great weekend!

Mom Beaglebratz here - yep, like that well known potato chip ad says - "ya can't have just one". Growing up, we were seldom without at least 1 dog and I am continuing that "tradition" and will continue as long as I am able to care for 1. And now that I have had at least 2 at one time, don't know if I could ever go back to just 1 - actually, I would love to have more but rite now, it is just not feasible.
Thank you for sharing this. I keep meaning to start writing about all the dogs I've been lucky to know but keep putting it off. This is a good reminder.
So far we still only have one dog, one cat, and some fish. But I don't know how long that is going to last!
What a great reflective post! They were both adorable puppies and very striking dogs!
two dogs and two cats are enough for me :)
Oh, Willow and Irish were so beautiful! My favorite two breeds as well! I especially love the sleeping photo with Irish's paw over Willow, so endearing. It's just amazing to me how they come into our lives and make them so rich, and always stay with us forever in our hearts. My only wish is they could share their love and lives with us for so much longer. Beautiful pics. My husband was raised w/o pets also, and I had so many pets from multiple dogs (we always had more than 1), cats, horses, birds, a bull, and even a rescued fox! Now, he loves our FiveSibes and is wonderful with them (and they love him!) Thanks for sharing your memories and photos! Have a great weekend and happy blog hopping to you too!
What adorable puppy pics!
What a great tribute to all your pets!

I have always said, "okay but only one THIS TIME"
I have six... 4 dogs two cats. I believe in rescue and adoption both. We choose rescue simply because many of the shelters place their hard to find home animals with rescues. Over time, I will share stories on my blog about the critters. A whole lot of love exist in my home to the point of nauseum... hehehe. But I like it. Hugs. Tammy
Looks like Willow and Irish were great friends! Here's the link to where I ordered the dogs' Christmas bandanas from:

Beautiful dogs. I can't imagine what it's like to live without dogs in the house.
